MARKETING OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINES

What Chinese people believe is that the Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCMs) can cure a disease to its root, this belief has been proved and ascertained by numerous cases throughout the Chinese history. Nowadays, more and more people trend to seek for the TCMs as an alternative to the western medication. The main reasons are that:-

-	the TCMs are natural as they are originated from the plants
-	there is no side effect
-	the efficacy, safety and toxicity of each natural plant have been experimented
-	the dosage of each medication is prescribed to meet the needs and the absorption capacity of each individual patient

The modern technology has made it EASY to prepare and to take the TCMs, through extraction, concentration, drying and granulation, the natural plants are now supplied in POWDER form. Just add the water and drink, it is very easy and simple to take and for the body to absorb. The ratio of the raw natural plant and the powder is either 5:1 or 10:1, it means that 1 unit (or ‘kilo’, for instance) of powder is made from either 5 or 10 units (or ‘kilo’, for instance) of raw natural plants. According to the ratio of each powdered plant, the TCM practitioner will know how to prescribe the dosage of each medication specially for each individual patient.
